Tina Byles Williams founded Xponance in 1996 as the FIS Group, and serves as its CEO. Aapryl, a subsidiary of Xponance, is a financial technology company that provides analytical tools for asset allocators to use for investment manager selection, portfolio construction and risk management activities. Ms. Byles Williams is widely regarded as a trailblazer in the field of identifying and investing with talented entrepreneurial investment management firms, many of which are minority and women-owned. Prior to founding Xponance, Ms. Byles Williams was a principal and senior consultant with the investment consulting firm WHP, Inc., and CIO of City of Philadelphia.
Ms. Byles Williams completed her undergraduate work at New York University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and earned her Master’s degree in Public Policy with an emphasis in Finance from Harvard University.
Jerrod Stoller
Strategic Advisor to Xponance’s CEO
Jerrod Stoller is the President of Digital Envoy. Jerrod has more than 20 years of successful management, executive leadership and business development experience in the technology, financial services, and security sectors.
David Andrade serves as Aapryl’s General Manager and oversees all aspects of the firm’s sales, marketing, client services, legal, technology, operations and administrative functions. He has more than 15 years of experience across executive management and entrepreneurial technology roles. A seasoned business leader, operational executive and entrepreneur, his professional experience spans Financial Services, Insurance and Telecommunications with an emphasis on technology product development, sales and marketing strategy. Mr. Andrade also serves as Chief Technology Officer at Xponance, Aapryl’s parent company.
Previously Mr. Andrade was Chief Marketing Officer at Patriot National and a Partner at Centric Consulting. Prior, he founded and was CEO of a Digital Marketing agency. He also worked in executive positions at the National Council of Compensation Insurance (NCCI), and with Andersen Consulting. Mr. Andrade received his M.B.A from Columbia University’s School of Business and a B.Sc. in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
Bill Himpele serves as the Director of Product and Account Management at Aapryl. He is responsible for overseeing the company’s product strategy and ensuring that it meets the needs of its clients. Mr. Himpele manages the product development team and supervises the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch. He works closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure that the product roadmap aligns with the company’s overall business objectives. Additionally, Mr. Himpele is also responsible for identifying, onboarding and collaborating with strategic partners. With over 15 years of experience in the Financial Services industry, having worked at firms such as Goldman Sachs and Bank of New York Mellon, Mr. Himpele brings a wealth of knowledge to his role.
Cesar Gonzales helps users maximize Aapryl’s functionality, leveraging his decades of manager research and portfolio construction experience. He develops customized client engagement programs, tailored to each user’s unique manager evaluation and portfolio management needs to ensure successful onboarding and ongoing use of the Aapryl system.
In addition to his role within Aapryl, Mr. Gonzales is Director, Manager Development and Client Portfolio Manager at Xponance, Aapryl’s parent company. Mr. Gonzales supports the firm’s Chief Investment Officer in the consistent and successful implementation of Xponance’s investment process. Mr. Gonzales also leads the firm’s Manager Development Program, overseeing the Xponance Ecosystem that supports the growth of entrepreneurial managers.
Sasan Poitevien serves as Aapryl’s Marketing Manager and leads the development, implementation, and execution of strategic marketing plans to engage potential customers and retain existing clients. This includes managing and coordinating marketing and creative staff, leading market research efforts to uncover the viability of current and existing products/services, and liaising with sales consulting and other agency organizations. He has extensive experience and breadth having worked in finance, information technology, marketing, and sales. Prior to working at Aapryl, Sasan worked as Marketing Specialist at California Stat Laboratories, a biotechnology company.
Mr. Poitevien earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Finance from University of La Verne in California.
Brad is responsible for sales at Aapryl. Brad previously worked for Door(fintech) which helped streamline due diligence questionnaires. Brad has over 20 years on the asset management side including Brown Advisory, T. Rowe Price and Legg Mason. At T. Rowe and Brown Advisory, he placed products with Intermediary Manager Research Teams.
Brad is a published children’s book author, Nana and the Banana. He is working on three additional books.
Brad has an MBA from Johns Hopkins, a BA in Organizational Behavior, and a BA in Education from Bucknell University. He’s based in Baltimore.
Carol Von Kaul, Aapryl, LLC’s Outside Counsel, advises Aapryl on contracts matters and other ad-hoc legal affairs. She started her career in Information Technology as a Systems Analyst with Merrill Lynch, designing quality control benchmarks for system-wide performance enhancements. Her legal experience covers a broad spectrum, i.e. a Prosecutor in Queens, New York, a registered patent attorney, and most recently serving as In-House Counsel to MACATE Group, a Silicon Valley-based technology firm that specializes in research and development in the communications technology field. She is also an insightful teacher and enthusiastic coach, mentoring her paralegal students as an Adjunct Professor at Miami Dade College, ensuring their entry into the legal profession is as seamless and fruitful as possible.
