About the Equity Performance Report
Emerging Manager Monthly and Aapryl have partnered to introduce new features that will leverage Aapryl’s manager performance analytics to enhance the insights offered to EMM subscribers. EMM will offer a quarterly report that will look to provide insights into manager skill across the investment manager universe as well as MWBE and emerging managers.
Highlights From March Issue:
- Across the board, active managers investing in smaller capitalization companies produced higher median manager skill versus active managers investing in larger capitalization in 2021
- In particular, there was a sizeable outperformance in Global Small Cap and Emerging Markets Small Cap.
- The manager skill generated by Core Plus fixed income outperformed Core fixed income.
- MWBE active managers outperformed the manager skill relative to the total universe in Non-US Small Cap, Emerging Large and Small Caps, and in Core Plus fixed income.
